Reintegration means going back into society after some sort of absence. The reason for the absence is not important – getting back on the wagon is.
After being absent for almost a year, and starting my reintegration as of yesterday feels liberating. I most probably could not have said this last week, but once you make the decision to move forward and get back to [at least where you were before] is a freeing act on itself.
Am I sad it took a year? No. Because now, only NOW can I look forward to what is ahead. This is called Growth! Yeah! So let’s GO!
